The owner of the
house is not a newbie in the matter: in addition to being an architect
and an artist she is the designer of the space for the guests in Posada
Palermo.
From the façade to all the rest of the structure, Posada
Palermo is a typical half-pompeyan or "chorizo" house,
one of the last exponents of this typical architectonic typology in
the zone.
For about 20 years now, "chorizo" houses have been recovering
it's protagonism under infinite recyclings, mostly respectful of
the past and attentive to new technology and the art of urban living.
